Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She also coaches and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first woman to take home the CrossFit Games twice. It was her second year that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the very first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she had won consecutively. The silver medal was awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received the Bronze award at CrossFit Games. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie was a well-known athlete when she gained fame. She has been associated with a number of brands in sports like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. Her own Youtube page is awash with over 1000 subscribers, where she posts videos of her family, travel and other topics as well as training diets.
