Eve was born to Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. She has two younger brothers Jack as well as George and was born between the United Kingdom and Los Angeles United States. She went to Bedales School before taking her A Levels at Westminster School London. During her time off she played at Beverly Hills Playhouse. Then she attended St Catherine's College Oxford, she studied English. While studying at Oxford, she appeared as a student in productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers and The Colour of Justice. Her background is multiracial and is the daughter of an Indo British father named Anthony Mitra (of British descent), and an Irish mother Nora Downey. This English actress, who is middle-aged, has two brothers: Jason Mitra (older brother) and Guyan Mitra (younger brother). Her younger sister is a famous travel journalist Her work has appeared in Lonely Planet.
